East Islip High School students visited Suffolk Community College and St. Joseph’s University on April 12 as part of the school’s local college tour initiative. Students learned about campus life and course offerings and toured the facilities of both campuses. School counselors Perri Sachs and Jennifer Salvaggio accompanied the students and provided an overview of the college application process as they toured the locations. While the weather was gloomy, the students were all smiles as they took in all the colleges had to offer.  

“This was a wonderful and informative trip for our students and important for them to see what these local colleges have to offer,” Director of Careers and Student Services Dr. Jason Stanton said.
