The PTA at East Islip’s John F. Kennedy Elementary School recently sponsored a fabulous book fair to encourage students to explore some great selections to strengthen their reading skills.

“The children had a wide variety of subjects to choose from, which sparked everyone’s interest,” Principal Deborah Smith said. “The emphasis was on celebrating the joy that results when receiving a brand-new book. Thank you to all of the parent volunteers that made the event possible.”
