Kindergartners in Gail Rhatigan’s class at Timber Point Elementary School recently got creative with the classic children’s game Floor Is Lava, using toy bear for people, plastic cups for furniture and table tops as “lava.”

“The children loved building their structures in order for the bears to be up high and not touch the lava,” Rhatigan said. “Their creativity came out, and many different engineering styles were built. I love to see what they come up with.”
