Fourth graders at John F. Kennedy Elementary School and Ruth C. Kinney Elementary School recently worked together to code their Dash robots to compete in four Winter Olympics activities including the slalom, speed skating, curling and figure skating. They collaborated to improve their performances and compete against other teams in the class. 
“The figure skating routines were impressive and some of the teams were even able to program their robots to complete figure eights, applying their knowledge of geometry,” teacher Jodie Macher said. “The excitement and enthusiasm were high, and they did not want this unit to end.”
