P.S. I Love You Day cofounder Brooke DiPalma visited Connetquot Elementary School on Feb. 6 for a kickoff assembly, explaining how the annual Feb. 9 event is a day to spread kindness and stand up against bullying. She prepared the students by discussing some of the ways they can celebrate P.S. I Love You Day, including wearing purple and reminding everyone no one is ever alone.

“Brooke engaged our students by encouraging them to share ways they can be kind to others as well as ways they can be kind to themselves,” second grade teacher Alyssa Policastro said. “They were eager to share their ideas with Brooke and showed their excitement in participating in P.S. I Love You Day.”
