The Ruth C. Kinney Elementary School PTA organized a New York Islanders game night out on Dec. 15, attended by 30 students, their families and several teachers. The exciting event ended with an opportunity to take a group photo on the ice. This was followed by a visit to the school from Sparky and Islanders representatives and mascot Sparky on Dec. 18 to talk to students about kindness, healthy choices and the importance of teamwork.
