East Islip High School’s student government recently hosted its annual staff Halloween costume contest. Many staff members participated and over 100 students voted for their favorite costume. Teacher Ryan Pearsall, dressed as Bob Ross, was the winner in the individual category. Music teachers Bethany Affelt, Patricia Bryan, Christopher Neske, Giovanna Sciandra and James Tucker, dressed as characters from the musical “Hamilton,” were the winners of the group category.
