Second graders in library media specialist Jodi Flynn’s library enrichment classes at East Islip’s Connetquot Elementary School practiced their research skills during October as they learned about notable Hispanic authors, artists, sports figures, entertainers and others to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
