Board of Ed Honors Red Ribbon Winners and Athletic Accomplishments

  • At the East Islip Board of Education’s Dec. 14 meeting, Red Ribbon Week slogan contest winners Angelina Hannon (Ruth C. Kinney Elementary School) and June Ritter (John F. Kennedy Intermediate School) were recognized along with the high school’s SADD club.

    Also on the agenda were major athletic accomplishments, as the Board honored East Islip High School senior Kelsey Kreuscher for winning the Suffolk County diving championship for the second year in a row, and the East Islip High School varsity football team for winning the Long Island football championship on Nov. 24.
