HS Cheer Team Ends Most Successful Season by Finishing Second in State

  • East Islip High School’s varsity cheer team ended the most successful season in school history by placing second at the New York State cheerleading championships. After winning the Suffolk County Championship on Feb. 18, the team traveled to Binghamton’s Visions Veterans Memorial Arena for the state contest on March 4, representing Section XI and East Islip in the Small D1 division.
