Technology Education

  • "I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand."-

Technology Education covers the human ability to shape and change the physical world to meet our needs, by manipulating materials and tools with various techniques. As an educational discipline, the goal is to teach the knowledge and techniques necessary to develop technological literacy. This is accomplished by bringing laboratory and other project-based learning activities to students. Project Based Learning is an instructional approach built upon authentic learning activities that engage student interest and motivation. These activities are designed to answer a question or solve a problem and generally reflect the types of learning and work people do in the everyday world outside the classroom.
