    Teacher Letters of Recommendation Requests:
You can view your “requested” teacher letters in Naviance.
“In Progress” means your teacher has completed the letter of recommendation
and it is ready to be sent to colleges.
“Requested” means you have requested the letter, but it is not complete.

It is your (student) responsibility to:

    • Make sure you talk to teachers prior to requesting a letter of
recommendation. We recommend you request 2 teacher letters.
    • Let your teachers know of any deadlines, especially “early’ deadlines. Make
sure your deadlines in Naviance are accurate.
    • Follow up with your teachers about your letters.
    • Complete your “Senior Brag Sheet” – This information is used to help your
teachers/counselors write your letters of recommendation.

If you need help adding teacher recommendation requests to your Naviance account, please see your School Counselor.
