During the Holiday Recess, the current main entrance at Liverpool High School will be taken offline to prepare for upcoming renovation work (vestibule redesign and expansion). The main entrance will no longer be available to students and staff to enter and exit the building (however, it will still be available for students and staff to exit in the event of an emergency). Construction fencing will be added to the area to limit access.
During the project, the LHS main entrance will be relocated to the former main entrance (across from the Fine Arts Wing at the high school).
In addition, the Liverpool Central School District would like to remind those living in the surrounding neighborhoods that the pathways behind the Wetzel Road building will not be maintained during the winter months because of limited access due to construction fencing. Please prepare for an alternate route in the event of inclement weather.
The renovation work is part of the Education 2020 Capital Project, approved by voters in March 2022, and reauthorized in May 2023.
