Work continues on the next phase of the Liverpool Central School District’s Education 2020 Capital Project, which was approved by voters in March 2022, and reauthorized in May 2023.
Last week, demo and abatement work continued at the Wetzel Road building. Work took place in the basement, as well as the ceilings and hallways in one of the building’s wings. New piping also was installed in the basement, and removal of toilets and plumbing fixtures took place in another wing of the building.
A fence was placed around the storm water retention area at Liverpool High School, and final walk throughs of the LHS Stadium and Tennis Courts are scheduled to take place.
Demo and abatement work will continue at Wetzel Road this week, and work on the LHS Stadium bleachers is anticipated to begin the week of November 11.
