Young artists at Timber Point Elementary School recently spent a week learning about Earth Day and how they can help take care of our planet. They then celebrated Earth Day early by spending a class using only recycled paper in the school’s art studio. During the Earth Day Art Challenge, the students worked with scrap paper and printed materials, like magazines and old books, to create their artwork. 

“My students enjoyed the added challenge and creativity that this brought to their work,” art teacher Amanda Lastella said.
